What the company do Paint Me Red: ethos ‘We experiment… show inspirations and creative adventures… show our work at events and activation’s… We are an open book, a note book, a scrap book for your ideas….’ This is the creado I needed adere to. Their aim was to be different and stand out from the crowd. To this end I started by looking at colour, and not just colour but lots of colour. What fascinates me are all the bits and pieces of the flower that make the individual shapes the colours, the sense of nature and the wilderness they bring with them. They are not merely materials to be arranged artificially, overstuffed, wired or stuck in a frog in the bottom of a vase? Using nature as a muse they can be created into something totally new and different. ‘It’s better to explode in a blaze of glory than wilt away’
